Imagine driving to the beach with the windows down, blasting your favorite song and screaming the lyrics at the top of your lungs with your friends. Having a good playlist of songs to jam out to is crucial to any car ride, so here are some top songs that should definitely be on yours.

1. “Piano Man” by Billy Joel: A classic that needs to be on everyone’s playlist. With the amazing voice of Billy Joel and the wonderful background music, it is an amazing song to memorize and sing.

2. “I Fall Apart” by Post Malone: A newer song, yet definitely one to sing along to. It may not be the happiest song, but the lyrics and the tune are the perfect things to sing along to.

3. “Year 3000” by the Jonas Brothers: A true bop. This throwback is a great song to scream at the top of the lungs with your friends too.

4. “Mr. Brightside” by the Killers: Even though this song is considered a more chill, it’s one that can brighten up any car ride.

5. “All I Think About Is You” by Ansel Elgort: Not everyone knows that this actor makes music. His work is extremely underrated this song is perfect to jam to.

6. “There Was This Girl” by Riley Green: A country song that is not for everyone. This is considered true country and not something that can pass as everyone’s favorite. However, if you appreciate this genre, this song is one to add to your list.

7. “What a Feeling" by One Direction: Another great throwback. The members of One Direction’s harmonies in this song make you want to sing along to them. It’s a song you definitely want to listen to with friends in your car.

8. “Rewrite the Stars” by Zac Efron and Zendaya: This song is from the hit movie The Greatest Showman. You can’t help sing along to the song’s high notes when you hear it.

9. “Seasons of Love” from the original cast of Rent: Everyone knows the lyrics, “Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes,” which is the opening line to this classic. Just by listening to this iconic line, you are already caught up with the magic of this song and show.

10. “1985” by Bowling for Soup: Even if someone did not grow up in the 80’s, they probably know every word to this song. With mentions of Blondie and the movie, The Breakfast Club, this is a song you will blast in the car with the windows down.
